Camiguin Island is located 9 degrees north of the Equator, 49km south of Bohol and 14km north of Mindanao. It has a population of approximately 85,000 inhabitants, a total land area of 292 sq. km. wih over 4,000 hectares of rain forest, the climate is tropical.
